While I'm having my breakfast yesterday, my father in law's handphone rang. I thaught someone is looking for him, so I continued my breakfast and reading newspapers. But I felt abnormal, why my FIL answering in Mandarin. I started curious and continued listened to what he said.
Actually I didn't know that the call was from a china gal. But through my FIL's conversation, I guess I'm right. I was then asked my FIL in a joking way.
Me : Yeee...dad, why you talking in Mandarin ger? Is that the call from a china gal?
FIL : Yes, I didn't know her, but she told me that she's from xxx travel agency and need to do some research wor....
Me : Haaa.....research har???? What's that???? I thaught she offers you a price and then........(smiling non stop that time, thinking something that's no good)
FIL : I also don't know what she said lah, but just simply answered her questions.....
I heard that my FIL said that he has no time and need to go out, hoping will end the phone conversation. But may be my FIL too good and think it's better to end the conversation in a good manner. So, they talked around 2 minutes.
Me : Aiya, hang up the phone directly lah.....you know she's lied....
FIL : No good lah, just said that I'm not free and no time for that....
Continue my breakfast but I was thinking, where the china gal found my FIL's handphone number. Actually what she needs?? Is that errrrr.......then I think she will vomit and fainted once she saw my FIL apperance....haha....
I told hubby about this at night, he also laughed like hell....I told him that the china gal also dóesn't want the money and run like no tomorrow.....hahaha.....

this is very common edi. my bro, colleague and uncle also received this kinda calls before. the trick is, once u heard its a china gal just say "lu cakap apa?" por "mau cari sapa?", she will straight hang up one. these china gals tipu men one.
Hey! I am a lady and I received this kind of call once also. I also wondered how they got my phone number.
But, this China Doll sounds so professional. She said she's from one of the Astro channel -- "Feng Huang Rui Shi", and they are doing a research on water filter. She said there is one company selling water filter from China is coming to Genting to do some Demo. And ask me to go to Genting in certain date, Some more give me a code, and told me If I am the first dunno how many to get to the demo, I'll get one free water filter.
But, when I asked her how did she get my phone number, she said her company randomly pick one. I think is a bad answer.
How about this? I still wondered is it true? What do you think?
now this china girl very terror...must be syndicate la...big con job lor!
wendy, ya hor, my FIL should speak in Malay...if she calls again, i will ask my FIL to speak "ying ka bu ling ger"...hehe
healy, emm, i dont believe it lor...give u free water filter??? must be a trick behind it lah....
