Piggy Girl

Everyone around me asking me when you going to have another baby? I heard it most when I saw my relatives during Marcus's birthday party last weekend.

They told me many reason that I should have another baby and following are what I heard from them :P

Relative A : You should try for another baby now thought it's good to give birth when you're young.
Me : I'm not young actually

Relative B : Faster go and have a piggy girl.
Me : I don't like pig leh, not ready to have another. You wait lah!!!

Relative C : Your son is 1 year old now, it's time to have another baby.
Me : Huh, like that also can ah?

Relative D : Go ahead to have another baby thought you can keep your shape back to normal very fast.
Me : If you go for ecexcise and take care your baby at night, you also have a slim body.

Relative E : One is not enough, you should go for at least 3, then consider enough.
Me : Ha ??? No lah....

Relative F : Wah, your son very "leng chai" and cute leh, why not go for 2, 3 or 4 babies?
Me : Oh, thank you. (walk away)

I've been listened to all these questions many times, and they really given me stress. Of coz I won''t bother what they said, thought it's my personal matter between hubby and I. I won't put myself in stress and let it be natural. Somemore, I'm happy with what I have now!!

Claimed My $$$

I just checked my mailbox and surprisingly I have many mails from payperpost that I can receive my payments. Normally I will receive a mail from payperpost per day to claim my payment. But today I'm so happy that I've received about 7 mails from them.

LOL!!! After claimed my payment, my account in paypal become fatter now. I can take my money out. Yeah!!! I thought to buy a domain name, it's better to get it one as my blog has become a "rojak" blog nowadays.

What to do with the $$$ that I will claim it? Em, I will go to have a romantic dinner with hubby, of coz my son too. Then, I will buy gifts to hubby, my son and myself. So, I think it's enough at this moment (should be finished all the $$$ that I claimed). Hopefully I can get more when I claim my $$$ next time.

Birthday Gift

Another new toy to Marcus from my brother as one of his birthday gift. Most of my relatives gave Marcus "ang pow" and new clothes. But this birthday gift I like it as Marcus can learn how to push this bumble car and play by himself. Just see his smiling face, and you know how much he likes it.

But I have to push him move forward and backward now thought it's new to him. This morning I tried to let him alone with this car, and surprisingly he can push it forward using his legs. Today is the second day he plays with this toy, and I really don't know when he'll get bore of it. We just wait and see how many days to go that I''ll keep it in the store room :P

Teething Time

Marcus has 4 teeth on top and 2 teeth at bottom at this time. He likes to bite things like handkerchief, toys, food, pacifier especially our FINGERS !!!!

He's now teething and like to bite. He will cry or scream if he can't bite anything. He's so clever that he doesn''t bite his own fingers. Sometimes my hubby's fingers were hurt when Marcus bit him hardly. Pity daddy being bit from his son...

Not only that, he will bite our face or nose if we carry him. Wow, scary leh this little boy!!! What to do? He didn't like all those teething toys that I've bought to him. Waste mummy $$$ leh...

Last Teaching At My Centre

I went to my branch centre to teach for a class, and today is the last day that I teach there as this centre has sold to others last week. My partners and I have signed all the documents and we've received a cheque. I considered lucky enough as there's people who want to take over my centre.

We sold the centre because we so hardly to employ a teacher in this rural area, the numbers of pupils not much and we don't have much time to teach again. We have to teach in our main centre as all my teachers will resign after chinese new year. We decided not to employ new teachers at the moment.

In the meantime, I've started to teach again and I think I gonna be busy after chinese new year. Not much time for me to go shopping with friends :( But it's good actually, I can save some money and keep it in bank.

Marcus's 1st Birthday

We celebrated his birthday at 1919 Restaurant yesterday night, with my family and relatives only. But Marcus so "lau kai", he didn't want others to carry him even though hubby except my MIL and me. I have to carry him throughout the night. Luckily he wanted to sit on high chair and I can feed him biscuits and noodles.

Marcus was happy when he saw his birthday's cake, and used his hand to touch the cake. But he's cried when sang a birthday song, so ended up I blow the candle and cut the cake. About the cake, I'm ordered it from Secret Recipe, and the favour is chocolate indulgence. The taste of the cake not bad, and most of my relatives love it.

Ghost

I reveived a call from my teacher said that she wants to take leave today. She needs to accompany her friend to do "fa si" in her house as her house got GHOST!!!!! I told my teacher because of this reason you want to take leave and cancel today's class??? She answered no one to stay with her friend and she needs to help her...bullshit!!!!

I thought to ask her you better not to work again and help your friend. So angry to hear all about this. Now, I wait my other partners and ask her better leave earlier. She started to "play" something in my centre. If she really leave us earlier, we all have to teach and take over all her classes. This is a small matter as we have 3 person to take over, I'm not too worry about it. What I worry if she talks or do something bad to my centre. What to do??? We can't control her anymore thought she think she will not here soon. She's the knid of person like that since she worked for me about 3 years.

Blackout Again

What's going on in my housing area lately? No electricity again at 12.30am till 4am last night. It's the second time since last month. I thought to go sleep earlier as I'm tired, but ended up slept at 4am.

Luckily Marcus was slept that time else we all will be in trouble. After an hour, my bedroom getting hot and hot, somemore with mosquitos flying here and there. Even though we have electrical fan, but Marcus started moving and almost want to wake up. The, hubby suggested to bring him sleep in the car with air-cond.

Hubby carried Marcus went to the car, he cried loud and didn't want to sleep again. At last, my MIL came out and nursed him. Finally he slept after crying for half an hour. We slept in the car till 4am when I saw the fan moving in living room.

I'm so angry with this incident happened again in my house. And I asked hubby to complain about it. But he's so tired and slept in a minute....

I just received this sms from my friend... I thought she really need money at fist when I saw the sms. But after read through all, it's a jokes. It's made me laugh and I like to read jokes.....So, are you the one who "kena tipu" by this sms like me ???

Lau Kai Boy

Normally Marcus will sleep around 10pm every night after I sang song to him. But recently, he's changed, he didn't want to sleep on bed and need us to carry him. Once we put him on the bed, he will cry.

He wants us to carry him walk around the house, especially he likes to watch everything in the kitchen and toilet, he's so curious about the things inside. Somemore he doesn't want to drink milk before go to sleep. He really quite "lau kai" nowadays, may be beause of his teething that make him act like this.

I'm logged on to internet late lately as I have to wait for him to sleep before I can do my things. That's why I sleep late nowadays, and with my panda eyes now. All this is small matter to me as long as Marcus sleep well and not "lau kai" anymore.

First Word

I have bought some story books for Marcus lately. I want to teach him Mandarin too instead of English. Normally my PIL will talk to Marcus in English, but I would like to let him to learn another language.

Nowadays, I spoke to Marcus in Mandarin and read story books to him in Mandarin too. I knew that he likes a story book titled as "JIA" means home. He will smile when my MIL or I read through the book.

This morning I did read the story book again to him before I go out. Suddenly, he spoke a word "JIA", I thought may be he just started for baby talk, but he repeated few times with the word "JIA", "JIA", "JIA". I'm sure he's pronounced it as "JIA". I'm so curious and happy to hear that, same as my PIL.

I'm sure he likes the word "JIA" and he loves our home too. Because when we go out each time, he will start screaming or crying for sleep or other else if more than half an hour. But once he reached home, he will very happy and energetic.

Anyway, we're happy to see what he does even though the first word not "pa pa" or "ma ma".......we love you, boy.

Preparation For CNY

Yeah, Chinese New Year is just around the corner, I think many people start to buy new clothes, making cookies, clean and decorate their house. I haven't start to do the things above, only bought new clothes for my son. Somemore I won't make cookies, thought I don't know and no time for me. I can't decorate my house for chinese new year as hubby's grandfather passed away 2 months ago.

But I have planned my schedule to beautify myself during this coming chinese new year :
- facial
-spa
-manicure
-pedicure
-dye hair
-buy new clothes for hubby and myself

I like to do all these things, especially shop for new clothes. Wow, my time table is full start from next week till chinese new year!!!

Am I Crazy?

I will wake up to feed my son or go toilet during midnight. Other than that, I will sleep like no other day :P But it's changed last night, I woke up to access my computer and log on to payperpost after feeding my son and it's around 4am that time.

I thought to write paid post as I know we can get higher rate during midnight. I can't go back to sleep after fed my son, lying on the bed and curious to see how much payperpost will give during midnight. On the other hand, I'm scared that hubby will wake up and scold me for doing such a silly thing. I'm slowly came down from bed and moved to the tv room, opened my computer and logged on the payperpost.

Wow, I saw many $10 per post, but I can't get it as all the posts have been taken by others
:( So, what to do????? Quite angry and dissapointed actually, didn't do anything and went back to zzzzzzzzzz.......

Become A Teacher Again

I used to teach students in my centre few years ago, but have stop to teach when I've employed teachers to replace me. But today I started to teach as all my teachers will resign after chinese new year. They've found better employment.

You may asking why not employ another teachers again, right? Yes, I did advertised on newspaper to employ teachers, but you know, most of them came for interview were poor in English. They even don't understand what's meant by "Race" when filling up a form. Besides that, they can't spell the word "chinese" correctly and asked me whether it is correct or not after wrote it as "chenise" and "chinesa". Huh, how if I've employ them? With STPM qualification, they don't know how to do standard 6 Maths also !!!! 5 questions with 2 correct, how????

I'm not criticized them, but it's truth that it happened. After discussed with my other partners, we decided to take over all the classes and we teach again. It's time to refresh all the primary subjects since I've not touch on it years ago. I think I have more classes to teach after my teachers resigned.

All Affected By Cough

I didn't fall in sick since Marcus was born last year. But I did sick lately for my cough, is really a bad cough and I haven't get well till now. I did't go to see doctor, but I did drank some herbal chinese medicine.

Too bad after my hubby, Marcus and I continuous falling sick, and now is my PIL's turn. Both of them having bad cough too. I think most probably they were affected by us. Luckily my PIL have a good rest yesterday as hubby and I brought Marcus to my parents' house. Not to said that I also have a good rest too where my mother helped me to take care my son. She's so happy each time when I brought Marcus to visit her. My father's not around as he went to Pantai Remis with his friend.

Not only that, my mother also involved in cough for more than a week. What I worried if Marcus also fall sick again as he's just recovered well from sick few days ago. Now, we're all hoping to get well soon and prepare to celebrate Marcus's 1st birthday on next saturday!!!

Hubby Wants To Be Fit

Hubby's not going to work as today is holiday. We brought Marcus to Jusco for shopping window only. But too bad for my itch hand and I went to buy Marcus's stuff again. Came out and saw hubby has bought a uZap from Osim.

He told me that he wanted to buy it months ago. He wants to keep his tummy fit and getting in shape. Wah, this product isn't cheap, you know, is RM698!!! It's not only to keep your tummy fit, but also butt and thighs.

The salesman told my hubby that we can see the effect after 2 weeks. I told him how if no result at all after 2 weeks? He answered me that hubby should do it regularly, 3 times per day, each time 10 minutes....and bla bla bla...hey, he didn't answered my question leh....Don't know whether it's true or not, let me see the result after 2 weeks.

I know my hubby wants to keep his tummy fit long time ago, but he's too busy with his work and he's lazy to go for exercise. Many of his friends always laugh at him about his big tummy like 6 months pregnant. So, I think it is best for him to have this uZap Osim since he doen't want to go jogging or gyms.

Wild Birthday Party

After having dinner with family, hubby and I attended my friend hubby's birthday party at E-box karaoke around 10pm. I guess I'm gonna to see some SX show tonight before I reach there.

They've ordered 8 jars of beers with some snacks, as this is included in the package. They ordered another 2 more jars as they got crazy. My friend's hubby started to act some silly and crazy action by taking out his bet, shirt and trousers!!!! Wow, children really cannot see it. It's a SX show lah.

The worst thing is they started to throw each other with beers, juices and ice cubes....how crazy they are, you can guess yourself. All the places full of snacks, beers, and etc. And we have extra charges for RM150 as we messed up the karaoke room, too embarrassed and wasted money.

But we all having fun last night though it's his birthday and we can get together again !!!

Received Payment From PPP

Hooray !!!! Yahoo !!! I got my first payment from payperpost today after waiting for a month.

I'll getting my other payments every day starting today. I have to check my mailbox every single hour to claim my money. Emmm....so happy to see my paypal account getting fat and fat loh....

All my tiredness and sleepness night is worth to me now when you see $$$ coming into your pocket. I need to work hard to get more $$$ from payperpost. Hoping that I can use the $$$ to celebrate Chinese New Year with my family next month.

Smiling Face Again

Finally I can see Marcus smiling to us when we're having dinner outside just now. I can't see him smiling last few days as he's not feeling well, with fever, flu and cough.

I brought him to see his paediatrician this morning because he's having fever for almost 3 days with the temperature up and down. I worried if he has denggi or chicken pox. He's started to cry when he saw the doctor. He kicked hard when he's put on a scale, doctor also shocked to see him kicked until the scale almost broken. The doctor shaked his head and said he's really strong enough.

He cried even loud when he's taking blood test, I'm so sad (sam tong) to see it. The result showed that he's got some virus infection, but no big deal. Again he cried when he's taking medicine, wow, susah to carry and feed him leh....but he has to drink it, if not he won't smile happily to us just now.

My New Blog !!!

Yeah ! My new blog named Lovely Mummy's Bay has been created and now published to the world.

It took me few days to do it as I'm not feeling well days ago. But finally it's done and I'm happy that I've another new blog for myself. I think I will getting more and more busy from today.

Blog Break

I was really sick after my yoga lesson yesterday. I having sore throat, feeling very tired. I still need to take care of Marcus as hubby was fall asleep after drank cough's medicine.

I thought I can blog after Marcus's slept, but it's not. Marcus's having fever, three of us getting sick together. Marcus need my MIL a lot when he's sick, "manja" my MIL instead of hubby and I. If go "kai kai", he sure need us.

I went to sleep earlier again yesterday night. This was a conversation between hubby and I before I was forced to go sleep.

I : Ai, I can't earn money today for writing my paid posts leh....

Hubby : No, you're sick, go to rest earlier..ok

I : I thought go online later woh....

Hubby : Aiyo, how much you earn per day, I gave you back? (I''m sure he will give me this kind of answer.)

I : No, is different, I want to earn money myself. You give your money to me is different...

Hubby : ok lah, you go sleep early, tomorrow you go earn money, ok..

I : cheh, I still cant go online loh....

Hubby : Sleep lahhhh....

Now you know why I cant go online yesterday....Emmmm...hopefully I will get well and blog today :P

I'm Sick Too

My turn went sick too after hubby and son. I'm feel tired and sore throat yesterday night. I went to sleep earlier after "ngam ngam cham cham" by hubby that I still blogging even though not feeling well.

So, what to do? I went to bed at 11pm. But Marcus woke up and cried suddenly at 12am. He didn't want to sleep until 2am. Wow, it's made me more tired. He cried loud until my PIL woke up. My MIL told me that hé's badly dreaming.

He woke up again for milk at 5am, I can feel he's having fever with 37.5 celcius, oh, poor little boy, fever again with flu this time. Luckily he's finished all the milk and slept again till 7.30am this morning.

But for hubby n I, we've two pairs of "panda eyes" :P

Another New Blog's Coming

Am I so free now? I thought to get myself another new blog. I want to write about shopping which I like the most, food, movies, magazines, travel, places, and etc.....

I noticed that Lovely Mummy become a bit "rojak" nowadays with different posts mixed together like about Marcus, family, make money and etc.....Besides that, I also want to have another new blog (thinking to buy new domain) to write about my family ONLY....

I Need Another Computer

Finally, I can use the computer to write my posts jus now. Hubby needs it to do his work and I have no chances to use it even for 10 minutes. I forgot to bring the computer to my mother's house this morning, rushing to go for breakfast.

So, I'm quite free and nothing to do there. Chit chatted with my mother and sister while Marcus was slept. We went to have lunch at Kopitiam near Padang Besar. After that, I suggested to go to Ipoh Parade. Guess what? I bought two pairs of new shoes to Marcus but my mother paid for it :P

Came back home around 5.30pm, busy take care of Marcus for bath, fed milk and nurse him to sleep. When I have free time, my hubby was already sitting in front of the computer. I'm a bit angry as my hands so "itchy" that want blogging. What to do? Only one computer? Though hubby's work more important than writing my posts.

But it's best that I have another new computer, I can blogging whenever I want and no need to wait so long until become "giraffe's neck".

To The Park Again

Hubby and I brought Marcus to Polo Ground again this evening. I decided to bring him went to the park again because :

* Today is not a sunny day
* Marcus doesn't want to sleep
* Hubby is free
* I'm finished writing my paid posts
* It's almost 4 months that we're not bring Marcus to park

He's so happy to see many people around him, especially those little kids running here and there. But we have to go home as Marcus started to feel sleepy, it was right coz he's slept in the car on the way home.

Year Of Pig

I'm watching a VCD regarding the feng shui, fortune of this year with my family just now. Hubby and I watched the part which the master described for the "Snake", as we're born in Snake year. So, you know how old my hubby and I now? :P

He said for those who born in Snake year, they "fan tai sui" this year, I don't know what is it. I knew that this is not a good thing, not good fortune in this year. Normally if I heard these words from my mother, and she will go temple and do something to us. The master said if you want a good fortune this year for snake person, what you should do is donate blood, donate money, let birds or tortoises freedom (fon san), repair your teeth....

If you're a single, this is a good year to set up a family. But for those married people, they have relationship problem between husband and wife. To prevent it, the master adviced to use different comforter instead of one.

So, do you believe it? If yes, then you follow what I said, else ignore it :P

An Epidural

Before I gave birth to Marcus, I have told my ob-gynae that I want to take an epidural during my labour. I really don't want to feel contraction pain, I know it's very painful. It's amazing after I take the epidural, no pain at all. Only my legs shaked like hell...

I told my story to my SIL before she gave birth, she can't make her own decision. After all, she don't have any knowledge on it, somemore their parents and hubby asked her not to take, it has effect after few years. But she really felt the pain during contraction, at that time, she wanted for an epidural. Oh, sorry, it's waste to take it when you have contraction. It should be taken before it.

Below is the conversation between my MIL and SIL last night:

SIL : Lina (BIL's friend) ask me is it pain when gave birth woh.

MIL : Of coz pain loh.

SIL : I told Lina really hard to describe the pain, is very painful actually and I really want to knock my head on the wall. So regret that I didn't take epidural as Shirley told me.

MIL : Ya loh, she don't have any pain at all, I will take also if available last time.

So, mum-to-be, please take note of it. It's not like our period pain huh.... do check out with your gynae about this in detail :P

Vomit In The Car

Hubby suggested to go out after dinner this evening, though we have nothing to do, somemore the little boy cannot stay at home anymore and need to go out.

Hubby fetched us to round our nearby housing area, and he suddenly drove us to Jusco. Oh no, I can't go down as Marcus only wore diaper and I with short pants. I told hubby that I wouldn't go down, better go home coz Marcus felt sleepy.

Hubby : both of you stayed in car, I go down to buy tickets ONLY.

Me : Oh, I see.....emmm??? Buy tickets????

Hubby : Yes, how about we go for midnight movie again tomorrow?

Me : ok....you see what's movie on first lah.

Few minutes later.....

Hubby : That movie best leh movie and ( bla...bla...bla...)

Me : ok lah....that movie.

While hubby buying tickets, I'm played with Marcus in the car, he smiled happily and suddenly he's vomitted all porridge that he ate for his dinner. OMG! All his shirt and diaper were wet, and car seat too....I quickily clean all this "things". But this little boy still played happily and nothing happend to him. We decided to go home and cleaned up the mess.

Wide Selection For Posties

Surprised!!! I just checked on PPP, there are over one hundred posts waiting for us to take. But too bad, we, bloggers only can take 2 posts a day. It's been a long time that I couldn't see over a hundred posts appear in the list.

It's good to have many posts for us to choice, as most of the time the posts have been taken or not available. I hate to see this sentencewhen its appear on the list:

All of the available posts for that opportunity have already been taken.

That's mean I don't have any chances to take the posts to write, most of the time there are $15 per post. So, I ended up take the $5 per post. Better than none,right?

Another Invitation Cards

My mother passed me an invitation card just now. Wow, is my cousin's wedding end of this month. She's only 21 years old, and guess why so hurry get herself into married life? I think most of you have your answer, right?

I totally not agree to get married too early. But in this case, they must. Both of them not really to be parents. Somemore they still need their own parents for financial support.

Hubby just came back, and showed me that he has another wedding invitation card. Huh, one month got 2 red "jar tan". Besides that, we're going to receive another 2 in October and 1 in November later.

Divorce? Not A Solution

Read through my best friend's blog this morning. I'm so shocked that she's quarrelled with her hubby again last night. This time her hubby said a word "DIVORCE". I can feel how hurt for my friend as she heard it.

She told me before that she has no feeling anymore to her hubby as they always have argument within small pieces of things. And she complaint to me that her hubby treats her well in front of friends, but once at home, he will change his style, be an angry and keep quiet man. What's she worried is her two kids, she really don't want to be apart with the kids. Divorce for her is nothing, she told me yesterday when we have lunch at Jusco.

Both of them also bad temper actually, as outsider we really cannot talk so much, just listen what she said and share her feelings. I hope that they can really sit down and talk about it, though divorce is not a solution if they really want to keep on their husband & wife realtionship.

Durians ??

It's durian season again. Hubby's godparents brought us few durians just now. Too bad that my hubby and PIL don't like to have it. Guess what? I'm the only one who must finish all the durians??? Oh, no,no,no.....

I like to eat durians before, but when I was pregnant, I can feel vomit if I smell it. May be my taste has changed during my pregnancy time. But after gave birth to Marcus, my taste come back and showed that I like to eat durians again.

I like to buy in pack at Jusco normally, it seemed clean and convenience to me who really don't know how to open the durians with knief. Even though it's much expensive that I buy it outside, but it worth to me.

I really can't eat all the durians, will get sore throat then. So, I decided to give some of it to my parents tomorrow.

Xin Lean Lai Loh

Chinese New Year is around the corner, I think everyone now has prepare for it like buying new clothes, shoes, renovation their house, making cookies and etc....

I can feel the season is coming as when I stepped into Juscco this afternoon, I can see many decoration hanging around, and I can hear all those chinese new year''s song.

This year I can celebrate chinese new year with my hubby and son, as I have 2 years which I'm not celebrated it. I went to Shanghai in year 2005 and having confinement last year. All my relatives have complaint to me that you really can't go anywhere and must stay in Ipoh to celebrate CNY with them. I told them not to worry as I'm not going outstation or oversea this year.

Actually they want me to play poker cards with them thought I always like "choi san", loose $$$ when I'm gambling. What they want are to win my $$$....emmmm...nevermind loh, once a year, gave them "ang pow" and $$$. Huh, hubby must be very "painful" this year :P

I'm Friendster's Member

Hubby has applied for friendster.com as member by his friend few months ago. He told me that he has applied to it, but he didn't update it at all until my friend told me. I even don't know what's the username and password.

I told hubby about it and he also forgot the information. So, we only guessed for the information and luckily we found it correctly and sucess to access to the account. Marcus's 1st Birthday Is Coming

My mother asked me to buy a birthday gift to Marcus few weeks ago as he's 1st birthday is coming. As for chinese tradisional culture, my mother must buy her grandson a new clothes, pants and shoes when his 1 year old. This will bring him good in the future. I don't know whether it's true or not? I definitely not believe.

Since my mother asked me to do it, of coz I agreed loh.... I can buy him new stuffs without using my $$$ . So I went to Jusco after work this evening to buy his stuffs. I bought him new clothes from Poney, but I can't get him pants and shoes coz not nice to me. May be I will go to other shopping centres to get it one day.

Besides that, I heard from my friends that it's not good that celebrate birthday for baby under 3 years old. He or she might "siew hei" after the celebration. What's "siew hei" means? The baby might get in sick later. I told hubby and he asked me not to here all the "pantang larang" from those "pak poh". Em, I still worry and thinking whether want to celebrate birthday with Marcus. May be I will invite my close relatives only. And just simply come for a dinner.

Night Outing

Hubby went to happy hour with his customer, also his friend yesterday. He told me that he will be coming back around 9pm something. Suddenly, I received his call after dinner, and he asked me to change clothes, he wanted to take me out.

He told me that there has a small birthday party at Rum Jungle. Rum Jungle again? Yes, I like to go there. We went there to celebrate his friend's birthday which is on 10th Jan. We celebrate d early with him with other friends too.

It was very crowded last night even though it's weekday. I enjoyed the live band at Rum Jungle, they (all malays guys & gal) sang chinese, hokkien, mandarin songs. We went home after cake cutting as hubby needs to travel the next day.

Midnight Movie

It's been a long time that hubby and I didn't go for movie during midnight. Normally we will go for a movie with friends probably about 9pm. But hubby called me yesterday when I'm on my way home from centre and asked wanna to watch movie at midnight since we've so long didn't enjoy midnight movie.

I agreed then hubby bought 2 tickets for the movie "The Guardian", is about the life for coast guards. The story life of this movie not bad, with some jokes and touching scenes. We reached TGV, Jusco about 11.25pm, and the movie started at 11.45pm.

When the movie end, I saw a married couples who brought 2 kids to watch this movie during midnight. The youngest was about few months old and the baby slept throught out the movie and didn't cried at all. The baby's father carried him/her the whole night. Doesn't it pity that baby has to go along with their parents? May be there is no one taking care them, but they can buy DVD watch it at home or buy early tickets. As for me, I won't bring my son to midnight movie and he sleep at the cinema. I rather buy DVD and watch it at home, or watch the early movie like 9pm section.

I enjoyed midnight movie as Marcus was slept during that time without making any noise normally. And I can feel like "pak toh" time before married.

Traffic Jam On Net

What's happened with the line today? I really can't log in to payperpost and loudlaunch sites to write my posts till now. Is anyone of you facing this problem like me? Aiya, I can't earn any money today, so angry lah.

Just called my friend, and she's also facing the problem, slow and very very slow to open a site. She can't even write her post. We all waiting and waiting, I think I can go to sleep early tonight, no point waiting here too long and do nothing.

Luckily I can through MSN to chit chat with my friend, but still very slow like turtle. Now, more and more bloggers sign up for paid posts, the chances to get the opportunity is very low. Nowadays I'm on my PC and get online whenever I'm at home. Once the line is get connected, I will quickily take the opportunity to write the posts.

I should be very busy to write my paid posts, but now I'm sitting in front of the PC ngam ngam cham cham about the line. Hubby went out to meet his friends, waiting him come back before I go to sleep. Em, my MIL is calling me, need to drink "pak chan", which I don't like.

Newspaper

This morning my MIL took a newspaper for me and said there is a girl who was kidnapped few days ago has been found along the highway in KL. That time I realised I'm actually not read newspaper almost a week...... :P

Why? Because I'm busy to earn money from PPP loh if I have free time....Em....I think I have addicted to it. I should rearrange my free time, really have to spent some time for doing other things like reading newspaper, magazines, watching TV, except blogging :P

Rum Jungle

Hubby called me this afternoon, he asked me whether want to have dinner outside. Of course I agreed. We went to Rum Jungle which is nearby with Lost World Lagoo, Tambun. It's a new place for dining, pub and there is also a live band to entertain customers.

Hubby and I like the environment there, you will experience when you go there one day. The decoration was very creative, I can feel I'm enjoyed my meal in the jungle. Marcus likes the small pond with lights, plants and stones, he looked at the pond and started smiled and talked. Of course I didn't understand what he's talking about, but it's really happy to see him acted like this.

Now you don't have to rush to KL for this Rum Jungle, there is one in Ipoh too. Go and try out there, the food served quite good with reasonable price, somemore with the romantic enviroment. It's good for dating leh....

Marcus's Fever Too

It's Marcus turn to get fever after hubby yesterday. I didn't bring him to see doctor as he still has fever medicine, somemore his temperature was between 37.5 to 38 celcius.

My MIL told me it's normal that baby has fever sometimes. He's got fever because of his teething, I can feel warm of his forehead and foots only. Hubby has pasted a cooler on his forehead last night before he went to sleep. His temperature was down to 37.3 celcius during midnight.

I fed Marcus to eat porridge for his dinner, but he didn't finished all. He sat on high chair and ate bread while we having dinner then. He seemed not so active as previous thought he's having fever.

He''s getting better this morning as his temperature went down to 36.9 celcius. And he started to smile and play with us.

Raise An Early Reader

Read through an article from Women's Weekly magazine (January) by Evelyn Yap regarding that parents should start reading to their children in a early stage. "We strongly recommend daily reading to children starting six months," said by Dr Robert Hannemann, the Academy's President.

I've started to read books with single words to Marcus when he's four months old. I've let him to hold and play with the book and read loud to him. Now, he's familiar with few books that I read to him every day. He will follow my fingers as I point to pictures on a page. He can sit quietly and hear me read to him, without any screaming or crying. If I'm busy, I will give him a small book, and he can turn over the pages by himself again and again. Like "yau yeng yau fon", but not sure whether he's really knows all the words I have taught him before.

So, you can track your child's progress below :

0-6 months
Hold out a picture book. Read to him for a couple of minutes at a time, and increase this as he grows.

6 months
Let him play with the book as you read out loud. The see-and-touch-and hear experience boosts his visual and spatial intelligences.

1 year
Let him turn the pages of the book. Re-read his favourite boos over and over again - he's learning, even if you are bored!

2 years
He should be holding the book right side up. Urge him to point and say what he sees. He can also tell you a simple version of the story.

3 years
Use the questioning technique. Instead of reading a story straight through, pause ans ask open-ended questions. This helps develop better comprehension.

4 years
Visit the library often and try a variety of books. Boys often like non-fiction and facts so you may find he's drawn to things like encyclopedias instead of storybooks.

Don't worry if your toodler is still too fidgety to sit and look at a book. Babies come with different temperaments. Just make reading a part of your bonding session and he'll eventually warm up the idea.

China Boy

My sister and her hubby were came back from Qui Lam, China few days ago. Guess, what they bought to Marcus? My sister has bought him a vest written with the words - Qui Lam, China. OMG, how and when I should give my son to wear leh? Marcus has another China shirt which was bought from China by my brother. Aiyo, nothing to buy there except these China look shirt??? okok....I really not to complain too much, else will be scolded by them..... :P

Mum vs Daughter

As usual my PIL will take turn and bring Marcus for a morning walk near our house. My MIL told hubby and I that she's quite surprised and felt sad to hear something from other people this morning. Below is the conversation between my MIL and an old lady who carried her granddaughter which they didn't know each other.

Old lady : Hei, you live nearby ah?

My MIL : Yes, over there....how about you?

Old lady : I came from Gopeng, I went to visit my daughter at that house, this is my granddaughter.

My MIL : *smile*

Old lady : This is your son alr?

My MIL : *rolled her eyes* No, this is my grandson......

Old lady : Oh...so cute leh....

My MIL : Ya loh, he wants me to bring him out for walk every morning...

Old lady : Just now I saw your father bring him walk already woh?

My MIL : *thinking, my father is at home and never bring Marcus for a walk* No.....that man is my husband.....

Old lady : Ohhh.....

My MIL : ok lah, need to go home loh, he wants to drink milk....bye...

Hahaha... hubby and I smiled non stop....I told my MIL that she should feel happy, her husband become her father, it meant that you looked young mah....but too old to be a mother with 11 months old baby lor....

Happy New Year 2007

Hubby and I didn't went out with friends on new year eve as hubby just recovered from his sick. Better stay at home from going outside that crowded with lots of people. We're celebrated and countdown at home. Even though only both of us, but it's meaningful as we have our son with us to celebrate new year 2007 (but he's sleeping now).........
